Maria Giraldo, CFA®

Ms. Giraldo is an Investment Strategist in the Macroeconomic & Investment Research Group. She is a key author of some of the firm’s leading publications including The Core Conundrum, the quarterly Fixed Income Outlook, and the quarterly High Yield and Bank Loan Report. She has presented her research on key issues regarding financial services regulation and market liquidity to diverse audiences including senior policy makers at the Bank for International Settlements. Her responsibilities include identifying emerging trends across various sectors and analyzing their impact on investment opportunities. In this role, Ms. Giraldo also develops portfolio strategy recommendations and periodic sector outlooks for individual and institutional investors. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Ms. Giraldo was a Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she spent five years in the closed-end fund origination group within Global Wealth & Retirement Solutions. Ms. Giraldo earned a BBA in Finance & Investments from the City University of New York’s Baruch College. She has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Mr. Bush joined Guggenheim in 2012 and is an economist in Guggenheim’s Macroeconomic and Investment Research group. His research focuses on economic and policy developments in the United States and emerging markets, informing the firm’s house views and investment strategy. He is a contributor to several of Guggenheim’s thought leadership publications. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Mr. Bush worked for several think tanks analyzing economic policy and taught at Xiamen University of Technology in China. Mr. Bush graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in Economics. Mr. Bush is a Certified Business Economist®. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Ms. Siracuse is also a founding member of the Invent Elite consulting consortium, which focuses on developing, launching, branding and operationally supporting broad based technology initiatives for financial services firms.

In addition, Ms. Siracuse is on the Board for the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation, is a member of the Council of Ambassadors for the IWI’s Thrive Center for Diversity and Inclusion and is a board member of Savvy Ladies.

In Nov 2020, Ms. Siracuse was recognized by InvestmentNews with the Women to Watch “Trailblazer” award for her commitment to DEI initiatives within the financial services industry.

Ms. Siracuse is an active volunteer at the Animal Rescue Fund in East Hampton, NY and an advocate for the humane treatment of animals.

She holds a BS in Business from Rider University. She, and her husband, Lee reside in New York City.
