Brian Comiskey

Brian Comiskey is the Manager of Industry Intelligence at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). In Brian’s current role, he is responsible for researching and developing stock market universes for the portfolio of indexes on which CTA and Nasdaq collaborate. Brian also serves as CTA’s lead industry analyst and forecaster for several technology categories including video & audio streaming and smart home. Prior to joining CTA, Brian consulted for the United States Coast Guard on digital transformation and cybersecurity policy. He also worked at media analytics firm PublicRelay, consulting on corporate communications strategy for clients across a wide range of technology industries. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the College of William & Mary.

David Wehrs

David Wehrs is a partner and head of platform in the San Francisco office where he focuses on building a platform that supports Bessemer companies as they grow. He leads a team of functional experts in community, talent, and marketing, who provide resources and strategic counsel for the portfolio. In addition, David helps guide Bessemer’s investor relations strategy and manages many of the firm’s limited partner relationships.

David draws on his experience from McKinsey & Company, where he worked with technology, media, and telecom businesses, across corporate strategy, operations, sales, and marketing initiatives. At McKinsey, David built TeamSight, a SaaS application that improves the process of making purchasing decisions across complex organizations. Earlier in his career, he worked in finance at Red Hat.

David holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and an economics degree from Duke University.
